From dated to modern elegance
Frankston ensuite transformation
Our client in Frankston wanted to refresh their outdated 1970’s ensuite, creating a more modern and functional space. However, once we began work, we uncovered a hidden challenge—extensive termite damage throughout the bathroom structure.
Rather than delaying the project, we quickly developed practical solutions to restore the space while keeping the renovation on track. With a thoughtful redesign and premium finishes, we turned a problematic old ensuite into a sleek, stylish retreat.

Stylish Finishing Touches
V-Groove panelling & a circular mirror added warmth and character, giving the space a contemporary edge.

The ensuite before renovations had seen better days. Dated tiles, worn-out fixtures, and a layout that didn’t make the most of the space—it was ready for a transformation.

As we stripped things back, we discovered extensive termite damage. The structure was compromised, but we quickly came up with a plan to rebuild and reinforce the space.

With new framing in place, we carefully constructed a custom shower niche, adding both function and a touch of luxury.

Plumbing and electrical rough-ins were completed, and we installed a brand-new window for better ventilation. Insulation was added to reduce noise between rooms.

The space really started taking shape once the walls were plastered and waterproofed. Large-format tiles were laid, instantly making the room feel more open and seamless.

With the flooring set, we installed a sleek frameless glass shower screen. The brushed brass tapware added warmth and a high-end feel to the space.

The floating vanity and basin were fitted, bringing everything together. With final checks done, the bathroom was now ready to use.

The transformation was complete. What was once a dark, outdated ensuite was now a bright, sophisticated retreat with modern finishes and improved functionality.
